Safety Certificates & Roadworthy Inspections

Maryborough Service Centre in Maryborough, in the Fraser Coast region is an Approved Inspection Station (AIS) and can issue Safety Certificates (formerly Roadworthy Certificates RWC).

In the state of Queensland, a safety certificate is needed when:

  • transferring registration to a new owner
    or
  • when transferring to Queensland registration from another state or territory

  • when re-registering an unregistered vehicle.
