What is a Log Book Service?

A log book service includes a thorough check of your vehicle to not only the manufacturer standards, but to the standards of Maryborough Service Centre. We will complete a comprehensive check of your vehicle - both inside and out. The service will include the changing of the oil and oil filter as well as any items listed due as per the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.

Why do I need a log book service?

Completing a log book service is a condition of the vehicle manufacturer warranty and must be complied with to maintain statutory warranty.

What happens if I miss a Service?

Missing a service can result in severe vehicle damage as you may not be able to detect a problem until it's too late. Regular servicing allows the detection of faults or problems on your vehicle giving you the chance to perform repairs of issues before they escalate.

Do you have Loan cars and how much do they cost?

Maryborough Service Centre has courtesy vehicles available. Just ask one of our friendly team when you make your booking.

Will I lose my New Car Warranty if I don't go back to the dealer?

No, The ACCC has confirmed that under Australian Consumer Law you can choose who services your new car and your right to a warranty is protected. Maryborough Service Centre is fully qualified to service new vehicles. We have more information on this for you in our article. Please click here.

I have lost my Log Book, do I need it?

No, at Maryborough Service Centre we can provide you with a Repco Authorised Service vehicle log book and complete it each time your vehicle is serviced. We also have access to each manufacturers service schedule to ensure the service intervals are followed correctly.

Do you provide Digital reports for the work you have done? or a digital report of what's wrong with my car?

Yes, every vehicle has a "work done" section listed on the invoice which provides full details for each service item performed and a comprehensive 65-point vehicle inspection report is provided as well for every vehicle. The vehicle faults are listed in order of importance.

How long will the service take?

The service time depends on what service schedule the vehicle is up to. You will be advised of the approximate time the vehicle will be required for at the time of making your booking.

How much will my service cost?

The service cost depends on what service schedule the vehicle is up to and/or due for. Every customer is provided with an estimated summary of costs prior to any work being commenced.

How can I pay for my Service?

Payment options available at Maryborough Service Centre are: Credit card, Cash, After Pay, Zip Pay and HUMM.

When are you Open?

Our Maryborough workshop is conveniently open from 7am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and 7am - 4pm Friday. We are not open on weekends.

What is the earliest time I can bring my car in?

Our reception is open daily from 7am Monday to Friday.

Can I drop off my car after hours?

Yes, this can be arranged. Please speak to one of our friendly reception team for more information.

Is there a secure key drop off box after hours?

Yes, we do have a secure key drop box available for the early birds should you need to drop off outside of our normal trading hours.

Can I collect my car after hours?

Yes, prior arrangements can be made by speaking with one of reception team.

Can you pick up my car from home?

Yes, prior arrangements can be made with our customers for collecting your vehicle from your home or office.

Can you drop me home when I deliver my car for servicing or repair?

Yes, we offer a free drop off and pickup service.

What happens if something is not right after my car service?

We take great pride in our work, but if something doesn't seem quite right then just let us know. Or if we find something that is not quite right following your vehicle service, you will be contacted by one of our team members to discuss. Plus you have the added assurance of our REPCO Nationwide Warranty if you find yourself out of town.

Will you give me reminders when my next sercive is due?

Yes, as well as a service sticker being attached to your windscreen, you will receive a service reminder call from us just prior to the next service interval. We offer both a phone and text message service.

Can my car be serviced at the same time it is repaired?

Depending on the scope of work required and the time available, the vehicle can be serviced and repaired at the same time. If the vehicle is required to "stay overnight" due to time restraints or the availability of parts, our customers are offered a courtesy vehicle.

How do I book in a Service?

You can book online 24/7, use the Book Now button on this page or call us on 07 4123 6399 during business hours from 7am-5pm (Fri till 4pm).

How often should I really service my car?

6 months or 10,000 km's, whichever comes first.

I don't drive much, do I still need a service?

It is our recommendation that even if you haven't driven thousands of km's you still get an oil and oil filter change and a full vehicle check over every 6 months.

Can you fix other things while my car is being serviced?

Yes, should we find anything additional, we will contact you to discuss. An estimate of the required repairs will be provided before any work commences.

Can you wash my car?

Yes - Maryborough Service Centre offers a complimentary wash and vacuum.

What type of oils and parts do you use?

Maryborough Service Centre recommends quality parts and oils from our trusted suppliers...Repco, Ryco, Penrite, Gates, NGK just to name a few.

Do you check my brakes during a service?

Yes, as part of our service standards, the brakes of your vehicle are checked during every service.
